The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, France

Lourdes is where Mary, the Mother of God, appeared eighteen to the farm girl named Bernadette Soubirous in the 1858. Since then, there have been tens of thousands of reported miracles of both physical and spiritual healing.

Have you or someone you know always wanted to visit Lourdes, France? It may be impossible for you to travel there physically due to distance, health, financial constraints, or other reasons. This is why I would be honored to go to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes on your behalf. In January 2026, I will make the pilgrimage from my home in Provence to Lourdes, France, situated high in the Pyrénées Mountains.

Through Letters to Lourdes, we invite you to send your letters, prayers, and photographs via mail, email, or through this website. The letters are individually placed in special, sealed envelopes, and I put each one in the prayer intention box at the Grotto of Massabielle in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes. Each evening, the prayers are dedicated to Mary, Our Blessed Mother. Your privacy is of the utmost respect, and we will never read or share your letters.

We invite you to send us prayers, letters, photographs, cards by mail or via email. Your privacy is of the utmost respect and we will never read or share your message, but will take it and personally put it in the prayer intention box at the Grotto in Lourdes, France. Please send your prayer via mail to our address in France. If mail is not an option for you, you can submit your prayer on our Prayer Intention Form Prayer Intention Form on this website or send us your prayer via email which we will print it out and put in an envelope for you. Please email your prayer to letterstolourdesfr@gmail.com with the subject line: Letters to Lourdes.

There is NO COST for this service and rest assured, everything is confidential.

Your prayer can be in any language and can include a photo is you wish. I ask you to please avoid any profanity, hate, racist or violent messages as those words and thoughts have no place in Lourdes or anywhere else in the world.

Each day, the prayers are presented to Mary. It is not broadcasted so your prayer remains between you, Mary, Jesus, The Father and The Holy Spirit.

You can send your prayer to the address below. Please make sure to put the proper postage for France so your letter does not get returned to you.

About Me

I had no intention of going to Lourdes, France, in September 2022. I was raised Catholic, but as time passed, I forgot the prayers, overlooked the meaning, and lost focus in my life. My faith slowly and silently slipped away, and I didn’t miss it. However, on our way back from a vacation in Biarritz, I saw the sign for Lourdes. Ok, I thought, it’s on the way, why not see what so many people talk about? And I thought I could buy my mother a Rosary, she would like that. Well, it seems that our Mother Mary had other plans for me. I visited the Sanctuary and the Basilica, and walked up to the crown, but couldn’t find the grotto. I finally asked and was directed down towards the river. Surprisingly, there were only a handful of people at the Grotto.

What happened to me at the Grotto was very personal, but it changed my life, the life of my family, and has affected so many others. I never asked for this, but Mary put me on a new path, one that restored my faith. Since that day, I began my journey to truly learn how to recite, understand, and appreciate the profound meaning of the Rosary. After I wrote the first book, “The Rosary Reflections and Photographs”, I realized that Mary was asking me to do more. But what?

An answer came to me one day while swimming in the Mediterranean Sea. It was the “Letters to Lourdes”. It would be my honor to take your prayers, take them physically, to Lourdes for you.
